SERVICES: SHIPPING POLICY |

For a limited time only, we are offering FREE SHIPPING within North
America for every order over $50 that we sell. The price you see on our
website is the final price you pay. There are no other hidden fees,
charges, or additions that you will unexpectedly have to pay for
deliveries within the U.S... no brokerage fees, no import duties,
no surprises...nothing!*
We use only the best shipping service available for North American
deliveries...Federal Express and their affiliates. For other deliveries,
we may use Federal Express, their affiliates, or other reliable carriers,
depending on where you live.
We maintain an inventory of products ready to be shipped to you at
any time, although sometimes a piece has to be produced especially
for you. Please click on the link called "Click here for
Availability" on each product page to see the availability for each
product and expected time before shipping. FedEx
says they take 5-7 business days to deliver once the item has
been picked up, but quite often it is faster. Upon confirmation of
your order, you will immediately be notified of your shipment's expected
departure date.
You can also request faster delivery using other optional FedEx services.
This option is always presented to you upon check out, but carries
an additional fee that is equal to the amount charged to us by FedEx.
The exact amount of this fee will always be shown to you before finalizing
your purchase.
PLEASE NOTE: At Adirondack Chair Works we respect your privacy and
don’t ask for sensitive information in order to ship your products
(such as your Social Security Number) like many other sellers do.
After all, do you really want to give out your potentially revealing
S.S.N. to someone you don’t even know together with your credit card
number… just to buy a chair?? No! But believe it or not, companies
that are not U.S. based (including Canadian companies) will require
this if they are sending you their goods from outside the U.S. If you
don’t give it to them, they must pay a broker to look it up. Either
way, they will have access to your S.S.N. with or without your
permission in order to comply with Homeland Security laws (unless
they are circumventing Homeland Security laws, in which case… do
you really want to buy from them anyway??).
Unlike most other companies (especially those who are exporting
their goods to the U.S. for you), we don’t require your S.S.N.,
we don’t need to ask someone to get it for us, and we don’t think
it is safe for you to give it to a stranger. Be smart...order from
a company that respects your privacy.
For international shipping pricing and scheduling (outside
of the Continental US & Canada), please contact us with your order
and we will promptly address your needs.
Conditions:
- Shipping times are estimated, but not guaranteed.
We are not responsible in any way for delays that may occur before
or during the shipping process.
- If there is any damage to the packaging
when the item arrives, please note this on the Way Bill BEFORE
you sign for it.
- Any damage that
may have occurred during the shipping process must be reported
immediately to make a claim for repair, replacement or return
of the item. click

- We reserve the right to repair or replace
any item damaged in shipping at our discretion.
- All freight items will be lowered to ground
level and placed on your property. However, due to insurance restrictions
placed on the freight company, as a policy they do not deliver
the item further than 2 meters from the truck. You will be responsible
for any movement of the item beyond that point.
- *Buyers in Canada are responsible for
paying customs brokerage and applicable Canadian taxes on their
side (not to us).
