Our
packaging has been carefully designed and chosen because it
can withstand a tremendous amount of punishment. However, it
is occasionally (rarely) possible that a piece could arrive
damaged due to shipping.
If you notice any damage whatsoever to the packaging, or if
you suspect that there could be any damaged pieces inside, please
follow the procedure below. If you do not follow the procedures below, we are not responsible to rectify the issue.
- If there is any damage to the packaging when the item
arrives, please open the item before the driver leaves to
inspect the item for damage. Please note that the packaging
was damaged on the Way Bill BEFORE you accept it,
and then notify us IMMEDIATELY (max. 2 days).
This is very important in the claim process if the item
turns out to be damaged inside due to shipping and since
courier companies have a strict time limit (usually 7 days) after which a
claim cannot be made.
- If the package and/or furniture seems significantly damaged
upon arrival and you don't feel confident that the damaged
piece can be easily replaced, please refuse it AND
write on the Way Bill that the package and item arrived
significantly damaged and we will send you another one without
any cost to you whatsoever. This is very important. Please
notify us IMMEDIATELY to expect an item that has been
refused delivery for any reason, otherwise it may not accepted
it back, especially if it has been damaged during original
shipping and we have not been informed.
- To return a piece of damaged furniture that you have already
accepted, please follow steps 1 through 6 in "Procedure
to Return Merchandise".
Please note: if
steps 1 and 2 (as written above) have not been followed
properly, we reserve the right to reject ant return or claim requests
at out discretion.
